To be extremely surprised, shocked, or amazed, usually in a way that shows on your face.

 Hand In Glove

The phrase “hand in glove” means very close cooperation or partnership, usually in a way that’s smooth, coordinated, or sometimes even too close.

It can be positive (working together seamlessly) or negative (collusion, being too closely involved).

Debbie Downer

It’s "pregnant" in the sense of being loaded or expectant—the silence suggests that something important is about to be said (or that the silence itself communicates something powerful).

A Late Bloomer

A person who takes longer than others to develop skills, talents, confidence, or success in life.

It’s often used positively to mean: someone who eventually shines, even if their progress comes later than expected 

• A student who struggles in school but excels in college is a late bloomer.
• Someone who starts a career or passion later in life but does very well can be called a late bloomer.

Bury my head in the sand:

Means avoiding or ignoring a problem or a difficult situation instead of facing it - like an ostrich hiding by putting its head in the sand.

• I know my credit card debt is piling up, but instead of making a plan to pay it off, I just keep burying my head in the sand and ignoring the bills.

  Blue blood attitude

The phrase “blue blood attitude” usually refers to someone behaving with a sense of superiority, entitlement, or aristocratic pride.

🔹 Blue blood itself traditionally means noble birth or aristocratic lineage (from the Spanish phrase sangre azul, used to describe European nobility).

🔹 So when someone has a blue blood attitude, it implies they carry themselves as if they are above others, looking down on “ordinary” people, even if they may not actually belong to nobility.

Why to study Algorithms, when memory is inexpensive?

Computers would be fast, but they are not infinitely fast. And memory would be inexpensive, but it is not free. Computing time is therefore a bounded resource, and so is space in memory. One should use these resources wisely, and algorithms that are efficient in terms of time or space would help one to achieve that.

Also, having a solid base of algorithmic knowledge and technique is one characteristic that separates the truly skilled programmers from the novices. With modern computing technology, one can accomplish some tasks without knowing much about algorithms, but with a good background in algorithms, one can do much, much more.
